The other night I had a dream you and Souda were pro tennis players. I think you tried to bully me while I was talking to the gym. Just thought you should know.

Oh, and you were wearing basketball style shorts, for the record. ;p

basketball style shorts!

No idea why I told you about that dream but I've been anxious about it, hence checking in so much haha. I did the research and can't find any psychological concepts about "the urge immediately upon waking to tell people your random dreams they might have featured in". (Followed by post-dream-telling anxiety.)

Yep basketball style shorts! Like the 'urban' style in the NBA popularized by 'urban' players. You might've had those 'crows'/braids as well. ;p Just wanted to make sure you at least knew it wasn't a creepy dream! lol With skirt-shorts: http://www.slate.com/id/111580/ - My sleep-consciousness is a militant feminist.

Do you like Phaeleh's music? Pretty awesome. I have yet to hear a song I don't like quite a lot. The new Tipper is interesting as well. Likewise Ital Tek and that Starkey artist is cool.

Phaeleh - Lament: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSw9sjOsVfY

Phaeleh - Memories (ft. Anneka): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kyd2XaEREVM

I rarely listen to 'rhythmic noise' type stuff these days, but if I haven't already mentioned Bipol's 'Fritter Away' and 100blumen's 'Down with the System, Long Live the System' I was remiss. Of course labels like Tympanik are continuing to put out great stuff as well, like Zeller's 'Turbulences'. And of course Disaro is a cool label.

100blumen - Silence in Times of Rage and Suffer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-iUrAcRRK4

Both Iris and Perfidious Words came back (hadn't heard PW since before I met you and was listening to stuff like the Cyberlab Compilation ;p) and PW made the perfect synthpop album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnzzDwUCOM8

Not a fan of the new Covenant, but one song from their new album had guest vocals from the fellow from Necro Facility. I checked NF out and if you think of them as a Skinny Puppy cover band, they're pretty awesome. ^_^

For a current intensely crazy Japanese band, check out Shinsei Tsukamattechan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqE3oaJmVS0 - This song sounds like an insane child is singing, hehe.

I really like Toro y Moi's use of 'side-chaining' if I'm using the term loosely correctly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPzWDUU9Opo

If you're interested in something reminiscent of Egghatcher (and by the way hope you checked out Haruki's To Humble a Nest though I'd compare that more to David Toop's recent work), look into Jonathan Uliel Saldanha's The Earth as a Floating Egg: http://www.soopa.org/release/earth-floating-egg/

Whew. The End.

PS - Pretty sure you already know about Samon Kawamura, but only recently did the coolness of Unfold really hit me so if it hadn't hit you yet either, working looking into: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0EGNic4OIE
